At sea and on the coast, all the issues are inextricably intertwined; ecosystems have no borders, and neither do most of the activities and those who depend on them. In this respect, we carry out integrated territorial diagnoses, based on our original approach of Maritime and Coastal Capital. This allows us to highlight the multiple components that define these territories (ecosystems and resources, demographic, intellectual, cultural, industrial dynamism, etc.), the way in which they have so far helped to shape them, and the opportunities and threats that could condition their future.

How will maritime issues evolve under the combined pressure of natural and human dynamics, whether local, regional or global? What are the possible scenarios and how can we adapt, prepare, influence or act to shape the future? Today's decisions shape tomorrow based on yesterday's knowledge: we help our clients to see far beyond the horizon. We support the development and implementation of maritime and coastal strategies adapted to the territories, their challenges and the available levers for action.

How can we strengthen the involvement of maritime and coastal stakeholders (citizens, professionals, scientists, managers, etc.) in the definition of strategies that will shape the future of their territories, and thus encourage their support for these strategies? By implementing the principles of territorial intelligence, we are working towards effective and inclusive governance of maritime and coastal areas. This implies a detailed understanding of the issues at stake for all the players involved and the relationships they have with each other, but also with players at other levels (national, European, international).

Our respective backgrounds allow us to integrate the knowledge generated in increasing quantities by the marine sciences: physical, biological, technological, but also human, social and political. As such, we constantly monitor our different areas of interest, reinforcing the knowledge that we use in all our projects. We also disseminate this knowledge by training various audiences (professionals, decision-makers, managers, students, etc.) in the many maritime and coastal issues and challenges, and in the approaches and tools that enable them to be addressed in an integrated manner (governance, planning, regulation, etc.).
