study carried out on behalf of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) brings together case studies on maritime clusters in the Mediterranean region, based on existing and publicly available information.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The report provides an overview of the main characteristics of the existing maritime clusters in the Mediterranean region, as well as an analysis of the distribution between the sub-regions and between the different sectors and experiences of the blue economy.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Some concrete examples are also presented, with final reflections and ideas on how best to move forward in supporting effective cluster initiatives: in each country and at the wider Mediterranean level of the different Maritime Clusters practices promoted to foster the blue economy
