BRIDGE-BS: Advancing Black Sea research and innovation to co-develop blue growth in resilient ecosystems.

June 2021 – November 2025

BRIDES-BS is a European H2020 project aiming to strengthen science policy in the Black Sea region to develop blue growth while maintaining and protecting resilient ecosystems. The project is based on regional pilot study sites, the results of which will contribute to an interconnected body of work addressing the four pillars of the Black Sea Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (Black Sea SRIA), while feeding into key policy initiatives relevant at regional and international levels. As part of a multi-partner and international consortium, SML contributes to the project with its knowledge of the Black Sea and its policy development frameworks. Its missions within the project are transversal, linked to economic actors and innovation development.
